Dates have been set for the 2020 Social Role Valorization Workshop! This year's workshop will be held June 9 - 11, 2020 at Nebraska Wesleyan University. The introductory workshop is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the experiences of people who are devalued in our society and explore ways to address devaluation in our communities. Learn more about Social Role Valorization and the workshop on the Disability Rights Nebraska website: https://buff.ly/2HNydz8

©North Platte Citizen Advocacy, Inc, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The mission of Citizen Advocacy is to promote the protection of and advocacy for people who are devalued, usually due to a mental, physical, and/or developmental disability. Citizen Advocacy programs bring the needs and interests of an individual who is at risk of social isolation to the attention of a citizen who will respond to these needs through a freely given, usually long lasting advocacy relationship. We consult with Disability Rights Nebraska about program development, evaluation, and training for board members and staff.
